Migration from Legacy Documents

Transitioning from the previous Documents feature

Note: If you’re currently using Documents within Risk Assessments or Partner Hub, both systems will remain available through Q1 2026. We will migrate your existing documents for you during that time.

What’s Different

Legacy Documents:

  • Documents tied to Risk Assessment stages
  • Upload files directly to requests
  • No dedicated document management or reusability
  • Limited version history

New Documents:

  • Standalone feature with My Documents tab for management
  • One document fulfills many requests
  • Complete version history with audit trail
  • Bulk operations with document lists
  • Enhanced collaboration with comments and mentions

Transitioning Your Workflow

  1. Start building your collection - Upload your current documents to the My Documents tab
  2. Create templates - Convert your common document requests into reusable templates
  3. Use both during transition - Continue using legacy Documents for existing Risk Assessments while adopting new Documents for new workflows
  4. Migrate by Q1 2026 - Plan to fully transition before the legacy sunset date
